Dashing Dogs Residential Training
We are welcoming dogs to stay and be trained by Adele, our head trainer with an abundance of experience of working with dogs. Set on our farm in 375 acres of fields and woods your dog will receive personalised, positive concept training. Our aim, through growing a relationship built on trust, is to get the best out of your dog so we can achieve your dog owning goals and dreams!
THE TRAINING
Your beloved pet dog will stay in our luxury boarding kennels with CCTV and heating if required. A secure fence surrounds the kennels to keep your pet extra safe (also a great place to train recall securely!).
Nestled in the beautiful county of Dumfries and Galloway, our residential training offers a picturesque and peaceful platform to kickstart your dog's training.
By stripping back all those daily stressors, you create a blank slate for your dog. We can then train the strategies and skills that your dog requires. From there, we gradually add in the distractions that your dog struggles with.
Our games based, positive approach to training is guaranteed to bring the best out of you and your dog. The pressure free, fun approach to training eases your dog into a new way of living.

WHAT DOES RESIDENTIAL TRAINING INCLUDE?
Firstly, we will arrange an initial consultation. In this session we will go through everything I need to know about your dog, previous behaviour and training, your goals for your dog and everything I need to know in order to physically take care of your dog. By the end of the session you will know exactly what my training involves and you will be ready for your dog to be trained at Dashing Dogs Residential Training centre.
Next, your dog will arrive at Greenmerse ready for their training holiday! You will receive regular updates on their progress throughout their stay.
When your dog's training holiday is finished, this is when your training begins! We will organise a strategic transition including 121s and our online training academy so you will be equipped with all the training strategies to continue your dog's learning.
OUR RESIDENTIAL TRAINING KENNELS
Our luxury boarding kennels are 19ft x 7ft.
Our Pent Duo kennel is perfect for housing dogs separately in our secure garden. The two dog kennel features a convenient two-door dog crate design. This thoughtful layout allows us to attend to one dog at a time, making feeding, cleaning, and overall care easier.
We want your dog's stay to be as comfortable and home like as possible. Having a large space for your dog to move throughout the day is essential to our home like home ethos.
